DEPRESSED SUFFOCATING CITY

PRE-COLLECTION

This collection is turning personal observation of human nature, voice and turbulent situation from current society, entitled as "Depressed Suffocating City" where people fight for their beliefs even though the world is absurd and life is painful.

Taking inspiration from the umbrella that was used in the protest and the Post It Wall (Lennon wall) where people dare to speak. I'd like to share my view on every girl with a unique and beautiful side. We should stand up and fight for what we believe, instead of going with the flow … Do not be influenced by other people's opinions.

In the fashion world, it is no longer we dress females. Women should have confidence and self-awareness, and have their own thoughts. I really hope that this collection can encourage girls to live high and confidently.

Using up-cycling and reconstruction techniques to turn waste. Including end-of-rolls, factory surplus waste, and secondhand textiles - into modern womenswear. I create classic silhouettes with an up-cycled twist that she intends for customers to hold on to for a long time.

"I want the consumer to cherish the garment and recognise the value of what they own."
